Qualification
Must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field from a recognized academic institution.
- Three (3) years experience in a similar role
- Must be Computer Literate.
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools (e.g., i-spring, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Articulate 360, or equivalent).
- Experience in audio and video editing, animation, data cleaning, content digitization and digital learning tools.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
OR
- Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field from a recognized academic institution.
- 2 years’ experience in Grade 7 at MKU or at a similar position
- Must be Computer Literate.
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Articulate 360, or equivalent).
- Experience in audio and video editing, animation, and digital learning tools.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle) is an added advantage.

Key responsibilities also include
Reporting to: Principal, Open Distance & E-Learning
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support in formatting and uploading of available e-learning course materials.
- Support in the digital transformation of course materials into multimedia-rich e-learning content.
- Record, edit, and produce audio and video lectures and tutorials.
- Assist in the design of interactive and engaging digital learning assets.
- Maintain organized archives of developed digital content
- Provide technical support i.e., Multimedia Content Support and conducting basic multimedia editing (e.g., video trimming, graphics design).
- Assist in other related ODEL technical tasks (e.g., uploading of online examination question banks)
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the section or departmental head
