Qualification
Education, Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health or Dental Surgery from a recognized academic institution.
- At least 3 years’ relevant clinical experience in a recognized hospital or training institution.
- Must be registered by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
- Computer literacy.
Key responsibilities also include
Reporting to: Principal Laboratory Technologist
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide preventive, promotive, and curative oral health services.
- Conduct oral health education and awareness to students, staff, and patients.
- Carry out diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of common oral conditions.
- Assist in dental outreach programs and community oral health initiatives.
- Ensure proper maintenance, sterilization, and safe handling of dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Supervise and guide students during clinical sessions in oral health procedures.
- To appropriately execute any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
